"Five Buck Hootenanny Rules"

1. Contact Fritz by phone or E-mail if you wish to volunteer  for a set and make sure you specify that you'd like to play a hoot..

2. Acoustic instruments ONLY ! All guitars will be miked (even acoustic/electrics) We are going for a traditional sound. NO EXCEPTIONS (except, perhaps, for a group that has an electric bass - we might be talked into that, if you are lucky)

3. On the night of the performance musicians are asked to arrive by 6:15 pm - play order and sound checks will be done at that time.

4. Remember you have approximately 35-45  minutes per set. Respect your audience and other musicians by being ready to go on when you are introduced and stay within your time limit.

5. This is a family event, appropriate language and material is expected.

6. Keep it folk, Yes, we know Big Bill Broonzy once said "It's all folk music, I haven't heard horses sing it!" but this is the place for traditional based music, so please, leave Neil Young, The Beatles et. al at home.
