Fritz
Schuler, co-producer of the Woodland Dunes Concert Series, has been
widely influenced by the rural music of the 1920’s and 1930’s. Called
“the walking encyclopedia of folk music” by Tom Martin-Erickson of
Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Simply Folk”, Schuler draws from a wid range
of traditional music from the Memphis Jugband Blues of Furry Lewis and
Sleepy John Estes, Hillbilly Country music of Charlie Poole to
Appalachian Mountain Songs and Ballads. Look forward to some high energy
fingerpicked blues guitar, old time Country Songs and mountain banjo
tunes and more |
